Qualifying for a BA Hons in Graphic Design in the 1980s, I specialised in information and audio visual design. Before computerisation, this meant preparing slide/tape presentations from artwork and photos. After postgraduate studies in Theatre Arts, and a brief stint working for a print co-operative in Cardiff, I set off on a freelance graphic design career, running parallel with my work as an actor.
Aerta Creative was established in 1999, with the aim of bringing an experienced, trained design sensibility to web development, while continuing to produce work for print. With most new sites now produced on the WordPress platform, with its myriad customisations and functionality possibilities, no job – no matter how complicated – has been turned away.
